Dollar For’s mission is to advocate and support patients with medical debt. The core belief behind their work is that a medical crisis shouldn’t be followed by a financial crisis. The most impactful way they work to accomplish their goals is through hospital debt forgiveness programs—utilizing policies that are already in place to make a difference for individuals and families who need help navigating medical finances.
Pink Lemonade Project was started in 2010 to help people dealing with breast cancer in Oregon and SW Washington. They offer various types of support, like emotional help and educational resources. They used to focus on helping people after treatment, but now they assist those still receiving treatment too.
Movember is a top charity that helps improve men's health worldwide, concentrating on mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. They promote discussions on men's health and support projects that drive advancements. Since 2006, they've backed 54 inventions, 70 treatments, and 107 tests for prostate cancer. Riverside Payments donated $5300 to the Movember Foundation and plans to continue their support.
